Tidy Site, LLC is a construction debris removal company that focuses on handling construction waste responsibly. We remove construction waste from residential building sites and haul it to transfer facilities, eliminating the need for builders and their contractors to clean building sites themselves.
We work with builders and their subcontractors to develop a sound construction waste management strategy. Working together, we strive to reduce the amount of construction waste destined for area landfills.
By hauling construction debris to local transfer facilities rather than directly to a landfill, materials are sorted for re-use opportunity. We are constantly exploring innovative methods for reusing materials on site, maximizing recyclables at the transfer station, and minimizing landfill waste.

Construction Waste Statistics: Data from the National Association of Home Builders indicates that construction waste by weight is roughly 42% wood, 26% drywall, 11% masonry, 4% cardboard, 2% metal, and 15% other. The two major periods of waste generation are the completion of framing, and the installation of drywall.

Innovative Recycling Options: Currently, Tidy Site is exploring equipment and a grinding process that may allow up to 85% of residential construction waste to be reused either on site or via proper sorting at transfer stations.
- Framing lumber can become wood chips or mulch for landscaping, tree root zone borders, erosion control, walking paths and soil amendment.
- Ground gypsum from drywall and sheet rock can be used for loosening clay soil, retaining soil moisture, or flushing salt from soil. The calcium and sulfur content of drywall also promotes plant health for landscaped areas.
- Ground shingles, bricks and cinder blocks are useful for aggregate replacement and subsurface fill for driveways and sidewalks.
All these processes virtually eliminate the need for on-site dumpsters and dramatically reduce the amount of usable waste dumped into area landfills.
